Item Details
A handsome dining set including a table and six chairs, in the Jacobean Revival style, circa 1930s vintage. These pieces are in mahogany veneer over mixed hardwoods. The table features beveled corners, thick lathe-turned legs with an ornate trestle base and two leaf inserts which can extend its length. The chairs include one armchair and five side chairs, with lathe-turned legs matching those of the table, and shaped crest rails with sculpted shell and scroll designs. The seats of the armchair and one side chair are upholstered in a taupe, gold, and cranberry diamond motif satin upholstery. This set matches lot 16CIN212-002 and 16CIN212-003 in this sale, a Jacobean Revival sideboard and china cabinet.
Condition
Leaves in table do not match the rest of table. Wear with age and use.
