A vintage lithograph poster print promoting Pablo Picasso’s 1952 Exposition Vallauris. The poster is subtitled, ‘Maison de la Pensee Francaise/ 2 Rue de L’Elysee-VIII/ A Partir du 6 Decembre.” and titled “The Goat” in the Catalogue Raisonné. The Maison de la Pensée is where Picasso held his first ceramics exhibition, among other activities, and his largest exhibition of sculptures and drawings, in 1951. To the bottom left corner is small text that reads, ‘Mourlot-Paris’. The artist’s signature is printed in plate. The poster is set behind glass in a beveled wood frame with a distressed silver tone finish. An Alan Brown Gallery label of Hartsdale, New York is attached to the verso.
