Early 1900s American Pine Convent Table

Item Details

An American made pine convent table, dating to the early 1900s. This table has five drawers on each side, and one drawer at each end with lug pulls. The table features slightly splayed legs. Each nun would have her place at the table, and her tableware would be kept in the drawer where she sat. Mortise and tenon and nail construction used. The table has acquired a rich patina over the years.

Condition

Interiors of drawers have been painted.
