A W. Lucas signed Expressionist autumn park oil painting. The image depicts a glowing tree strewn vista with abstracted figures walking toward the horizon. It is painted with energetic brushstrokes and pallet knife texturing and is just shy of monochromatic with warm orange tones throughout. Signed in the lower right corner it is painted on canvas and set in a tiered oak frame with a wire for hanging on the backside.
Condition
Some frame wear from use.
