Antique Fisher Scientific Co. Apothecary Balance Scale
Item Details
An antique Fisher Scientific Co. apothecary balance scale. The case is constructed of wood, glass, and polished brass. There is a metal label denoting ‘Fisher Scientific Co. Pittsburgh PA USA’ to the front. The case box rests on three metal legs, the two in the front are leveling feet. A front glass door raises up to allow access to the interior. Inside are two suspended copper trays hanging from an incremental bar measure. A plaque to the inside has the company name with increment marks, and a ridged brass-toned knob handle is affixed to the base of the case. A plaque to the exterior of the case reads ‘PSC-ESMWT / 60062.’

- untested. All interior components appear to be intact and working.
