A limited edition and signed serigraph, titled Gitana 2011 by artist Itzchak Tarkay. Itzchak Tarkay was an Israeli artist, born in 1935 in Subotica on the Yugoslav-Hungarian border. Tarkay is known for depicting beautiful women in rich, saturated colors. Typical of his style, this vibrant piece with confident bold and expressive use of color, depicts a woman, presumably Gitana resting in an armchair. Numbered 299 in an edition of 495, signed lower right. Presented in a composite frame and housed in linen mat.
