John Ruthven Offset Lithograph Print of Bengal Tiger for Idaho State University

A limited edition offset lithograph print titled Bengal Tiger by well-listed and renowned Ohioan wildlife artist John A. Ruthven (b.1924). Commissioned by Idaho State University in 1975, this print depicts the beautiful animal stalking through the tall grasses of its natural habitat. The print is signed in plate and in pencil to the lower right-hand side, and is numbered at the left, number 453 in an edition of 1000. The frame is from Closson’s of Cincinnati and is a beautiful burl wood.

Condition

-it appears print fell from wall as glass is missing and frame is separated at corners. Print has a very small nick.
