A vintage mid-century original Impressionist-style oil on canvas painting of a winter cityscape Place de la République, Paris, during the 1800s, snow covering the ground in slushy white layers. The painting is signed in paint by the artist to the lower right, mounted in a carved wooden frame with pickled and gold tone finishes.
Condition
- craquelure across, consistent with age. Paint has chipped away in a few very small areas to lower right.
