Chinese Tang Style Sancai Floor Vase

Item Details

An early 20th century Chinese Tang style Sancai (meaning three colors) floor vase with relief decoration of a peacock, birds, plants and rocks. The earthenware vase has a lovely mustard yellow glaze, detailed in green, blue and brown glazes and having green relief borders on the upper rim and base. The bottom has a brushed mark in brown. Circa 1920-30.

- having a rim chip and abrasion to base.
