Vintage Salesman Sample Oak Cabinet

A vintage salesman sample cabinet comprised of oak, circa the early 1900s. This miniature cabinet was once used as a display for cabinet salesmen to showcase what the actual model would look like, but in a smaller, more convenient and portable size. This piece of furniture features a lower cabinet with two small drawers along the top and two doors below that house a large storage compartment and a hutch on top of the cabinet, which has an open cubby hole in the center and a door on either side. Assorted hand painted details also decorates the exterior in red, white, and blue fan shaped motifs with yellow borders, while the interior of the cabinets and drawers are lined with a floral paper.

Condition

- Good to Fair. Several nicks and scratches all over. Wear to finish consistent with age. Various scuff marks and other discoloration/staining.
