Original Inked Overlay Of Cincinnati Music Hall By Ken Ozier Circa 1971
Item Details
An original inked overlay by well listed painter, draftsmen, designer, writer and printmaker Kenneth H. Ozier (1905 – 1978). Ozier was born in Cincinnati and studied art at the AAC as well as the University of Cincinnati. An interesting example of what can be achieved through the overlay process, this is an arresting image of the iconic Music Hall, completed in 1878. The work is presented in a simple black wooden frame with double matting to edge in black and white, under glass, and offers a glimpse of a true draftsman’s skill in architectural renderings. A typed notation reads ‘Original overlay of music hall by Ken Ozier Cinn. Ohio Nov, 1971.’
