A limited edition offset lithograph print of a work by well known Mississippi marine artist Michael Blaser entitled The Public Landing: Cincinnati, 1935. It depicts a number of steamboats on the Ohio River, including the famous Island Queen, with the downtown skyline and Roebling suspension bridge in the background. The notable boats and buildings are labeled at the bottom of the image. Signed by the artist in plate to the lower right corner and in pencil to the lower right margin. This image is numbered in pencil to the lower left margin as edition 139 of 950, and has a copyright date of 1988. Double matted in cream and brick red under glass, presented in a beveled composite frame with a gold finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
Condition
Shows signs of wear consistent with age and use.
