An original serigraph by Roy Fairchild (England, 1953-) titled ‘By Some Golden Thread’. This serigraph is limited edition (59/85). This serigraph depicts a conglomeration of images of women, instruments, flowers, writing, abstract elements, and various textures. A certificate of authenticity is included with this artwork.

Roy Fairchild was born in Surrey, England in 1953. He works out of his rural home in England but travels frequently to Italy to study Renaissance frescos for inspiration. Fairchild left school at sixteen to pursue a career as a technical illustrator but ended up returning to receive a degree in graphic design. For several years Fairchild produced commercial illustrations for record sleeves, advertisements and books under the name Woodward. Eventually Fairchild settled into a career as a printmaker and is renowned for his rich, vibrant prints. He currently teaches art classes in England.
