Item Details

A signed Dennis ‘Bose’ Biddle baseball is featured in this listing. Dennis ‘Bose’ Biddle, the youngest player to pitch in the Negro Leagues, signed this Rawlings Official Major League (Selig) baseball in black ink pen on the sweet spot area. Bose added the inscription ‘CAG 1953-1954’ beneath his name. The inscription pertains to his pitching career with the Chicago American Giants when he was just seventeen years old. In 1996, Bose founded the organization ’Yesterday’s Negro League Players,’ which supports its surviving members. Dennis Bose Biddle passed away in 2015. There is no COA on this autograph which has been compared to other known authentic examples. The baseball is enclosed in a protective holder. Best to attend our Preview for a personal assessment.
