Henredon "Carlyle" Armoire

Item Details

A Henredon Carlyle armoire. The armoire or wardrobe is part of the Carlyle collection and draws its inspiration from the best design elements from the first half of the 19th century. The William IV style piece has an upper and lower section with double doors framed by curved panels of flame mahogany veneers, flanked by seven drawers on each side with rounded brass ringed pulls. The armoire has a flared cornice above an unadorned frieze, with rope turned moulding and a stepped base. This piece coordinates with 16BOS018-80, 16BOS018-81, and 16BOS018-82.
