An Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17 violin. The violin, a reproduction of Stradivarius’ model, features a back, neck, and ribs constructed of flame maple wood. The soundboard is made of spruce. There is a marking inside that identifies it as an ‘Antonius Stradivarius Cremonensis Faciebat Anno 17.’ It includes a black hardshell travel case with a carrying handle, removable and adjustable shoulder strap, and two silver tone flip-lock closures. The inside is covered in an emerald green fabric and contains two small storage compartments for accessories. Two bows are included, one with a white plastic frog, the other with mother-of-pearl inlay. Also included is a method book titled ‘Essential Elements for Strings: A Comprehensive String Method: Violin Book 1’ (published in 2004 by Hal-Leonard Corporation) with a play-along CD and DVD. A Performance Plus violin pitch pipe, Sherman’s violin resin, cleaning cloth, and corduroy pad for the chin rest complete the set.
Condition
Method book is unused. One bow has frayed strings. One storage compartment lid is broken. Bridge has come off (included for repairs). Missing one string.
