Antique Ambrotype Portrait of Civil War Confederate Soldier
Item Details
A cased ambrotype portrait of a Civil War Confederate soldier, shown wearing his gray coat uniform and hat with several things hanging from both shoulders. His hat has a ‘W’ insignia. Image is on a slab of glass, has an oval cut gilt embossed mat, presented behind glass, and all kept together with an embossed gilt foil. Has a dark pink stamped velvet cushion opposite to portrait, all stored in a black gutta perch high relief ornate case with flowers.

- minor chips and crack to case.
