A rare temple rubbing of Angkor Wat on black rice paper with predominantly gold paint. Angkor Wat is the largest religious monument in the world, located in Cambodia. This stunning rendition of this Hindu-turned-Buddist temple is bordered using the same artistic process then framed in a wood frame with a gold silk mat. The rubbing appears to be gold paint on black rice paper and shows color only when light is introduced to the surface. The artwork is in great condition for its age.
