An antique Paris, France beaver skin top hat in fitted leather hat box. The box is unmarked with heavy damage. Hat covered in black beaver skin/fur with black silk outer band, marked ‘Bravard 47 Bould. St. Michel Paris’ with image of an angel to interior silk lining and interior leather hat band. Also marked with owner initial ‘L.D.M.’

Condition

- to poor, there is extensive damage and wear to leather covered box. Straps are broken and or missing. The box interior appears to have been repaired with a hand stitched white muslin lining. The hat is dented on one side. The hat brim has damage and loss to fur covering.
