A vintage Vincent Glinsky’s ‘The Awakening’ reproduction sculpture by Sculpture Club, circa 1960s. This vintage Art Deco nude sculpture is a composite replica of Russian born American sculptor Vincent Glinksy’s (1895-1975) work. He is considered a direct carver master sculptor, and was accepted into the inaugural class of the American art and architecture Beaux Arts Institute of Design. The Awakening depicts a beautiful reclining maiden against the rough hewn rock. This sculptural replica is marked copyright ‘Sc’ on the rear edge (Sculpture Club), and Vincent Glinsky on the end edge.
