1920's Evening Dress

Item Details

A 1920s evening dress. The dress features an overlay of black burnout velvet with a red, blue, and yellow paisley pattern atop a silk crepe. The dress includes a train to the backside and is draped similarly to a Greek peplos dress. The sleeveless dress has one embellished strap with prong set rhinestones and seed beads. A plain woven silk slip lining is attached to the inside and the dress has snap closures.
