A vibrant handmade Oaxacan wood carving by artist Carlos Morales in the form of a bull. Oaxacan wood carvings are a form of Mexican folk art. Individual artists create hand crafted sculptures from copal wood. The carving depicts a standing bull. The bull is hand painted with vibrant colors including bright blue, orange, red, pink and purple, with a striped design throughout its body. The piece is signed on the underbelly “Morales”.
