Vintage Crosley "Victory" Tabletop Radio

Item Details

A vintage Crosley Victory console tabletop radio, circa 1946, manufactured in Cincinnati, Ohio. It features broadband and short wave bands with six tubes and a wood cabinet. It has a built-in loop antenna and features a red, white and blue background for the dial cover with the words ‘Foreign’ and ‘American’ to the top and bottom of the dial to indicate reception. It has four Bakelite knobs to the front for tuning and volume, with fabric covers on the speakers to either side.

Condition

- to fair for age. Untested. Speaker fabric torn away; scratches to finish. Plastic dial cover is yellowed.
