Item Details

A pair of hardcover editions on 19th Century Crime Detection. Features a 1876 First Edition ‘Adventures of A United States Detective’ by James J. Brooks and an
1886 ‘Thirty Years a Detective’ by Allan Pinkerton. The Brooks book was published by ST Souder and Company, Philadelphia and features a pressed cloth cover and spine with gilt design and lettering. The Pinkerton book features a worn leather cover and spine, with a red leather tab and gilt lettering.
