Paul Sumner Hand-carved Wood Fish Wall Sculptures
Item Details
A group of three hand-carved fish wall sculptures by North Carolina artist Paul Sumner, made in 2001. The bodies of the fish are made of wood, with cut metal fins and tails and metal loops for hanging. Each fish is hand-painted with a different pattern, teal and black stripes, gray with black spots and black with white spots. Sumner’s works are inspired by folk art.
