Concepcion Aguilar Oaxacan Folk Art Hand-painted Insects

A collection of twelve brightly painted terracotta insects made in Mexico by Oaxacan Folk Art artist Concepcion Aguilar. The group includes beetles, butterflies, an ant, a spider and more. The insects have metal legs and are painted with colorful designs and vibrant details. Each insect has a metal loop for hanging. At least on insect has an attached sticker reading ‘Hecho en Mexico’ and another is marked ‘Concepcion A.’ to the underside.
