A basketry sculpture, personally commissioned by the seller, and created by listed 20th century artist Sally J. Bright, dated 2001. This large sculpture represents seashells and bubbles in prominent colors of blue, lime, red, purple, and tan. Marked to the underside, ‘Sally J. Bright. 2001.’ The sculpture is backed with plywood. Bright weaves her basket sculptures using numerous media including metals and rattan, then she airbrushes the finished work.
