A 1988 painted bronze sculpture by notable artist, Nancy Rieke. This sculpture depicts a colt and is painted a light brown with white legs, tail, and a small stripe to the head. The colt is laying down but has his neck turned and ears perked up. Marked to the underside, ‘N. Rieke. 1988. AP/50.’ Notable artist, Nancy Rieke is famous for her bronze equestrian sculptures and has won awards for Best of Show in 1988 and 1994. She currently lives in Wisconsin and has her studio on Horse Lake.
