Item Details
A hand art glass vase by listed late 20th century artist Sonja Blomdahl. This art piece features a bulbous body in a vibrant yellow color, a ripple design to the neck, and a flared rim in hues of sky blue. Etched to the underside, ‘Sonja. B9599.’ Sonja Blomdahl was born in Massachusetts in 1952 and twenty years later she began working with art glass at the Massachusetts College of Art. Sonja is known for her ‘double bubble’ technique and has won multiple awards, including but not limited to 1986 NEW Visual Arts Fellowship and 1987 Artists Trust Fellowship.
