A Bev Doolittle The Forest Has Eyes limited edition print. The print after a work by well-listed American artist Bev Doolittle (b. 1947) depicts a rider on a white horse, leading a brown horse across a stream, deep in the woods. Faces appear within the foliage and hidden in the painting. The 1984 print is signed within the artwork to the lower left, and in pencil to the lower margin area, along with an indistinct edition number, which is partially obscured by the mat (appears to be ‘7240/8544’.) Presented with a suede mat under glass in a wood frame. A biography of the artist is affixed to the verso, along with the title, ‘The Forest Has Eyes’, and the edition number, along with information about the numbers of artist’s proofs, printer’s proofs and copyright registration for this work.
