A lmited edition, 1977 original color woodcut Khartoum by Terry Parmalee. This woodcut depicts the moon and a palm tree flanking a pyramid with the Nile River in front. Main colors are hues of blue, beige, yellow, green, and red. Pencil marked/signed to the top left corner, ‘’Khartoum’ 20/100. Terry Parmalee. 1977.’ The woodcut is surrounded by a brown burlap fabric and housed in a copper toned metal frame. There is a wire to the back for hanging and a Spicewood Gallery sticker. There is an artist informational sheet by the publishers, Associated American Artists. Terry Parmalee was born in 1929 in Washington D.C. All of her original woodcuts she not only creates them, but hand prints them.
