Item Details

A solid maple roll top desk and oak chair. The roll top desk manufactured by the Young Republic Company features two drawers at the top with dovetail joints and covered desk that when rolled up exposes a large working space that has divided shelving. Beneath the desk there is a long drawer with dovetail joints and metalware knobs. The desk stands on turned legs. The oak chair was manufactured by Tell City chair company in Indiana and features a serpentine back, turned side rails, carved designs to the back, and spindles. Chair stands on turned legs with stretchers.

- one stretcher is missing from the chair.
