Vintage Delco R-1229 Tabletop Wood AM/FM Radio

Item Details

A vintage Delco R-1229 wood table AM/FM radio, circa 1949. The radio is encased in a two-tone wooden case with the band across the top and an on/off knob, AM/FM knob, tuning knob along the bottom. The back is marked ‘Delco – External Atenna’ and feature the power plug. To the underside, there is a sticker reading ‘Delco Model R-1229, Serial No. 6976’ along with other information. Item has been tested and both bands are working.

Condition

- appears to have been restored; tested AM and FM bands, and both have reception
