A pair of Gorham pewter candle holders. The holders each have a rimmed top with a knopped pedestal above a large, turned-style stepped base. Marked to the underside ‘Gorham Pewter PH50.’ with the maker’s mark. ALso included are a pair of Dutch Metawa 94% pewter salt and pepper shakers in a traditional style, with a tall, narrow neck and wider, flanged base section. Each rests on a stepped, round foot and each has a plastic plug at the base for seasonings. Each is marked to the underside, ‘Metawa – Holland, Real Pewter – 94%.’
Condition
- negligible corrosive marks to bases. Minor candle wax residue.
