A vintage Virginia Maid Lane cedar lined chest. Featuring a book matched walnut veneered front. Inside reads ‘Seventy Per Cent of this chest is made of 3/4 inch red cedar panels (Jumperus Virginiana) in accordance with U.S. Government recommendations. Made by the Lane Company – Altavista, VA.’

Condition

Consistent with age. Decorative ribbed strips on front loose with one missing. Latch removed for safety reasons but still included.
