An original pastel on paper landscape drawing by listed contemporary American artist L. Martin Pavletich (1952-), titled Rayado Creek. The painting depicts early morning or twilight streams of sunlight shooting across the small creek as it twists through a bright autumnal forest. The drawing is signed in pale blue to the lower right. It is matted in marbled deep blue with a thin stripe of textured gold-toned trim. It is presented behind glass in wooden frame with pickled finish and spotted areas of gilt. A metallic plaque attached to the base of the frame gives the piece’s title and artist’s name.
