A 1901 Elgin National Watch Co grade 270, model 9, 21 jewel pocket watch. Watch is showcased in a open face 14K white gold filled case with decorative edges, striped back shield with an ornate wreath. Interior of the case is marked ‘14K Gold Filled Wadsworth Quality 6727971’. The porcelain dial features black and red Arabic numerals with a subsidiary seconds dial over the sixth hour. Movements feature a 3-finger plate and are marked ‘Elgin Nat’l watch Co’, serial number ‘9250945’, ‘U.S.A.’, and ‘No. 270’.
