An original watercolor on paper painting by contemporary Ashland, KY artist Janet Lester. The painting depicts a serene rural scene. An old wooden barn with the words ‘Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco’ painted on its side stands in a field of brown blowing grasses. The painting is signed in red to the lower right. It is triple-matted in white, forest green, and white and is presented behind glass in a beveled wooden frame with a thin gold-toned border. A wire is attached to the verso of the piece for hanging.
