18th-Century Chippendale Side Chair

An 18th-century English Chippendale side chair, constructed of elm with a mahogany finish and pegged construction. The pierced carved back has gothic detail, above a linen seat, upholstered over the frame, on marlborough legs with an H-stretcher. Circa 1770.
