Sawyier (1865-1917), an American artist primarily known for landscapes, lived and worked in Frankfort, Kentucky and chose central Kentucky as the focus of his work. A Rainy Day in Lexington depicts people walking the streets of Lexington in the rain. This lithograph is numbered in the lower right corner 61/950. It is under glass, matted, and framed. The back has a wire for hanging the frame and more information about the image and artist.
