Antique Eastlake Victorian Dressing Table
Item Details
A beautiful antique Victorian dressing table from the Eastlake period. This dresser dates from the 1880s and is made of solid walnut with burled veneer. The swivel mirror is framed by a straight fretwork pediment and reeded sides. Flanking the mirror are incised decorative brackets with affixed candle sconces. Two small drawers are to either side of the recessed top with a gray marble insert atop three bottom drawer with dovetailed joinery, keyholes, and lovely ornamental brass plates with bail pulls. The body of the piece is finished with reeded sides, a solid panel skirt, and sits on casters.
Condition
The mirror is slightly clouded, but over all very condition for an antique piece.
