A rare vintage Schmid Benchmark eight day carriage clock featuring a solid brass case, glass front and sides, gold tone face with beautifully designed hands, Roman Numerals and bearing the ‘Benchmark Made In Germany’ mark as well as the eight day mark. The lower front with an oval opening displays the pendulum and the chimes bell can be seen from the side of the clock along with the movement. In working condition. An awesome rare piece.
