Signed Rabbi Oil Painting by A. Straski

An original rabbi oil painting on canvas by Polish born artist Abraham Straski (1903-1987). Straski moved to the United States after he and his family survived the Nazi concentration camps in the Holocaust. Painting rabbis in warm colors became his signature style. This piece shows a seated rabbi with glasses in hand, holding a book and peering off into the distance. This piece is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and is presented in a gilded frame.
