A pair of World War I portraits of soldier Frank Kerr from Chattanooga, Tennessee. The first portraits pictures the soldier surrounded by patriot images of the American Revolution and WWI titled Spirit of ‘78 and ’18, based on Archibald Willard’s famous patriotic painting, with the addition of images of WWI. The second portrait pictured Kerr next to a second unnamed soldier. Both portraits are matted in peach and mounted in gold tone wooden frames.
