A vintage Madame Alexander ‘Elise Bride’ doll. Madame Alexander is a brand of collectible dolls established in 1923 by Beatrice Alexander. She created the first collectible dolls based on a licensed character from a movie, television show, or book. She was also one of the first to create dolls in honor of living people. This particular doll is named ‘Elise’ and numbered 1685. She appears to have been produced around the 1970’s or 1980’s. She is wearing a white wedding gown, veil, and holding a bouquet of blue flowers.
