901 Ansonia Clock Company Mantle Clock and Candelabras

A 1901 Ansonia Clock Company Mantle Clock and Candelabras. All three pieces are have been gilded and are made of spelter. The mantle set are Rococo style. The clock has a white porcelain dial with a bezel glass and has acanthus leaves and garland designs. Under the dial there is a hand painted porcelain piece that depicts a cherub holding a basket full of flowers. The candelabras are a matching pair and depict two different landscapes in the porcelain sections, while still having the same acanthus leaf design. The clock has brass internal mechanisms an and eight day movement and rings every hour and half hour by gong.

Condition

- fair, untested, some of the gilding has come off, consistent with age. Preview for own personal assessment. The top has a break to top. Two feet are not attached but present.
