The painting depicts two figures walking beneath an archway into a wide, illuminated market space. The painting is completed in soft, neutral tones of gray, blue, and soft yellow. The painting is signed and dated to the lower right and is titled in marker on the verso of the stretcher bars. It is presented in a black wooden frame with a wire attached to the verso for hanging.
