Antique English T. T. Salter Tortoise Shell Pocket Watch
Item Details
An antique European brass pocket watch cased in a black and red tortoise shell with gold filled rims and beaded accents, dated November, 16 1843. The dial is porcelain and features Roman and Arabic numbers. There are two paper labels inside the case. One reads ‘T.T. Salter Watch & Clock Maker New Street Honiton’ (England) and written on the back is ‘Mr Bradleer Farway 1/6’; the second paper label is partially illegible; however, part of it reads ‘Clock Watch Maker Honiton 16. 11. 43 Mr Bradleer Farway 3/6’.
