A Drew Friedman mixed media illustration print of Ed McMahon for the ‘New York Observer.’ The mixed media piece incorporates a printed image with hand coloring. The image depicts Ed presenting a million dollar check to a Joan Collins look-alike, presumably representing his affiliation with American Family Publishing. The image has a hand written note to bottom margin ‘Artwork for NY Observer by Drew Friedman’, with artist initial and ‘97’ to lower right corner, being matted under glass in a natural finish wooden frame with hanging wire to verso. The papered back of frame bears a label for the Gallery of Graphic Arts in New York City and a hand written inscription ‘Christmas 1997 Love – Bob & Greg.’
