A collection of Ed McMahon’s 1960s Miss America Pageant memorabilia. Ed was chosen as a panel judge for the 1968 Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The grouping includes a spiral bound album containing miss America memorabilia and two personalized letters written to Ed from Reese Palley, Atlantic City businessman and Mr. and Mrs. Edward Marshall Boehm, creators of Boehm porcelain, with signatures. Also includes two 1960s Miss America color photographs, a black and white ‘Miss Greater Philadelphia 1960 Miss Universe Contest’ silver gelatin photograph and a color print of the Boehm porcelain bird figurine that Ed was given as a gift for serving as judge at the 1968 Miss America Pageant.
